Learn About

The opioid epidemic has had a significant impact on individuals and communities living across the United States, resulting in many preventable deaths. More than 600 Minnesotans died of an opioid-related overdose in 2020. Tribal communities are at greater risk. American Indian people living in Minnesota are seven times more likely to die of a drug overdose than white people. It is important to learn ways that we can prevent additional opioid overdoses through sharing educational resources to increase awareness and reduce stigma.
