County Stakeholder Summaries

The C.O.P.E. project aims to support the prevention of and recovery from opioid misuse and opioid use disorder. From the start, the project team has relied on community input about strengths, challenges, and need to inform recovery initiatives and resource development. While community feedback and requests continually shape the direction of the project, initial efforts were based on interviews with community stakeholders and partners across Aitkin, Pine, Itasca, north and south St. Louis Counties as well as Bois Forte and Mille Lacs Tribal communities. The final reports (organized by county) summarize what issues are perceived as opportunities for education and growth to support recovery in the area. They also describe strengths that help facilitate recovery in their area which could be involved in C.O.P.E. project work.

Tribal community reports are available upon request. Please contact Mary Jo Katras at [email protected] for more information.
